Cold: Salad.
Cook for 3 minutes and let rest covered for 10 minutes. Or cook for 5 minutes. Flatten with a fork. Fonio can be steamed or roasted with a little oil for 3 minutes, adding salted water in several stages (like for risotto). When all the water is absorbed, cook for a few additional minutes. Stir with a fork.
