Lentils

Lentils originate from the East and accompanied the introduction of agriculture and its migration to Europe.

There are different varieties: green, blond, brown, black, yellow, and Green Puy Lentil A.O.P.. While the taste or texture changes depending on the variety, they can also change depending on the terroir from which the lentil comes (such as the green Puy lentils).

Lentils are renowned for being rich in proteins, fibers, iron, vitamins... They are very good for health and can be cooked in various ways, in salads, soups, stews, with fish, meat, grains, and even in desserts.
